I was born at Eroali, a small village in Murshidabad district of West Bengal, India. I did my primary schooling from Eroali Nimna Buniadi Bidyalaya. I completed my high school from three different school. I studied at Eroali Siksha Samsad High School up-to class six, then moved to Khargram High School and completed Madhyamik (10'th board exam). Then from Kanduria High School I completed my Higher Secondary (12'th board exam). From Kandi Raj College I completed my B.Sc. with honors in physics and from Kalyani University I have complited my M.Sc. in physics.
Now I am a PhD Student at Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. I am working on optical tweezers under guidance of Prof. Vasant Natarajan.
